I wasn't planning on posting this fic quite yet but since it's Hasshi's birthday Shitaro's too, but he's not in the fic but happy bday to both of them! I decided to hurry a bit and post it now already X3
This fic... ended up being so random XD; I was supposed to write just HSJ OT3 (HikaInoDai) fic at first, and I wanted to write another one with Fukka, TakaHasshi etc telling scary stories, but somehow I ended up putting those two together... and adding some random YamaJima in it too XD (Actually, YamaJima almost ended up getting the biggest part in the end..?) Fukka-tachi trio got way too small part in the end, I need to write an actual Jr.Boys fic soon X3

Because Sleeping Alone Is Boring
“Dai-chan, can I come in?” Inoo asked, knocking on Daiki’s door. It was in the middle of their concert tour, so the boys were staying at a hotel. It was already late, so all the boys were in their own rooms sleeping, or that was what they were supposed to be doing at least.
Daiki pushed himself up to sit on the bed. “It’s open so just come in!” the boy shouted back, looking towards the door when Inoo opened it and came inside.
“It feels weird… Being alone in the hotel room”, Inoo said with a bit meek smile as he walked to Daiki’s bed.
“Aaah, tell me about it!” Daiki said in a loud sigh, falling back on the bed. “Totally weird, because as juniors we’d always share the rooms with like one or two others. Being alone is so booooring…”
“If you’re so bored why didn’t you come to my room then?” Inoo asked a bit accusingly as he sat on the edge of Daiki’s bed.
The younger boy turned on his side, propping his head up with his arm and stuck his tongue out at Inoo. “Maa, I was thinking about it…” he said with a little laughter.
“…But were too lazy to actually get up?” Inoo suggested, laughing at Daiki’s expression when the boy frowned at him.
“Not really lazy…” Daiki defended himself, poking Inoo on the arm. “Just, when you’re alone there’s not really much to do other than be lazy…”
There was another knock on the door, interrupting what Daiki was saying. “Dai-chan, I’m bored, let me in!” Hikaru’s voice called from the other side of the door.
“It’s not locked!” Daiki shouted back, not bothering to push himself back up again, just barely turning to look at the door when Hikaru came in.
“It’s so boring there on my own!” Hikaru whined, walking to the bed. “Eh, Inoo-chan’s here too?” Hikaru asked surprised when he noticed the boy sitting on the edge of the bed.
“Like you said, it’s boring by yourself,” Inoo said with a smile.
“And you came to Dai-chan instead of me…” Hikaru said in a dramatic sigh, pretending to be about to cry.”
“Didn’t you come too?” Inoo asked, smirking at Hikaru.
“Ha ha, I guess so,” Hikaru laughed, bouncing onto the bed to lay down next to Daiki on the opposite site where Inoo was sitting. “Maa, Dai-chan is cuter so that’s why?”
“What kind of a reason is that? Oi, don’t crush me!” Daiki said, partially annoyed but also laughing when Hikaru leaned on his chest.
“But it’s true after all!” Hikaru laughed, ignoring Inoo’s glare at him when he was being too touchy feely with Daiki.
Daiki stuck his tongue out at Hikaru, pushing the boy off himself. “I don’t want to hear that from you~” he said, pushing the boy away when Hikaru just laughed and came closer again.
Inoo glared at Hikaru again before laying down on the other side of Daiki himself. He reached his arm around Daiki’s waist, pulling the boy a little bit away from Hikaru.
“What are you doing now?” Daiki asked from Inoo now, poking Inoo on the chest. “I don’t think my bed is big enough for three people…”
“It’s big enough, me and Inoo-chan are so skinny and Dai-chan is all tiny,” Hikaru laughed, moving a little bit closer to Daiki now that Inoo had pulled him away from him.
“Go sleep in your own beds if you wanna lay down,” Daiki complained, crossing his arms over his chest. Hikaru just had to use the chance to tease him about being small…
“I don’t wanna sleep yet…” Inoo whined, smiling a little. He still had his arm around Daiki, and the boy hadn’t pushed his arm away.
“Why did they have to put us in different rooms anyway, there’s nothing you can do on your own but sleep…” Hikaru mumbled, kicking his legs on the edge of the bed, slightly annoyed.
“Maybe that was the whole point, so we’d sleep?” Daiki suggested, giggling a bit.
“What they’re doing is just forcing us to hang around in each others’ rooms,” Inoo laughed. “So it’s not working. And it‘s unfair too, since Fukka and the others get to share a room with someone else so they‘re not lonely…”
“Wanna go back being a junior?” Daiki asked, grinning at Inoo.
“I didn’t say that,” Inoo said, sticking his tongue out at Daiki. “It’s just weird. Hm, but I wonder if the others stayed in their rooms…”
* * * * * * * * * *
“…And when the girl opened the door to the attic, a strong wind suddenly blew out the light on the candle on her hand. Being suddenly swallowed by the darkness around her, she felt something cold touching her should as she…”
“Takaki if you hold onto my hand any tighter you’re gonna be crushing bones!” Hasshi suddenly exclaimed, pulling his hand away from Takaki.
“Hasshi, shush, you’re ruining the best part in my story!” Fukka complained, pointing the flashlight he had been holding towards his face as he had been telling his scary story at Hasshi. It was pretty dark in the room, but Hasshi could see Iwamoto’s and Watanabe’s amused grins from either side of Fukka.
“It’s not my fault, Takaki is such a baby and being so scared he’s breaking my fingers~” Hasshi whined, rubbing his fingers with the other hand as he glared at Takaki next to him. Hasshi was sharing a hotel room with Fukka, but Takaki had gotten bored being in his own room alone and had joined them, and so had Iwamoto and Watanabe from the next door room.
“I’m not scared!” Takaki tried defending himself, but his slightly squeaky voice wasn’t making it the least bit believable. “I’m only sitting so close in case you get scared…” The two boys were sitting next to each other on Hasshi’s bed, the blanket pulled over their heads.
“No one’s believing that!” Hasshi laughed, flicking Takaki on the forehead.
“Would you two stop already~” Fukka sulked, crossing his arms over his chest. “I want to finish my story! Shota, go sit between them!”
“Eh?” Watanabe turned to look at Fukka, not really following with what the boy was saying.
The boy was apparently being too slow because Fukka was already looking at Iwamoto on his other side. “Fine, Hikaru, you go sit between them.”
“We’re quiet, we’re quiet!” Hasshi ensured, but made sure to elbow Takaki on the stomach before settling to sit in a better position next to the boy.
Fukka glared at the pair suspiciously for a few seconds before directing the flashlight back to his face. “Okay, so where was I..? Ah, something cold touching against…”
When a light knocking from the door interrupted Fukka’s story before he even got to continue again, the boy let out a frustrated moan and fell on the bed over surprised Watanabe. Watanabe looked down at Fukka confused, but became even more puzzled when he saw Iwamoto giving him a death glare from the other side of Fukka. “What noooow~?” Fukka whined.
“It’s open,” Hasshi called to the door, pushing the blanket from over his head so that he could see who it was now. The door was pushed open and Chinen stepped inside, looking a bit wary as the room was so dark. “Ah, Chinen? You’re not sleeping yet?”
The youngest boy shook his head. “No, it’s weird to be sleeping there alone, and I wasn’t feeling that tired either…” Chinen said, looking around a little confused as to why the boys were sitting in a dark room with a flashlight. “I went to see if Takaki was still awake but there was no answer so I thought maybe he was here…”
“We’re telling scary stories together,” Takaki explained. “You can come join us too if you want.”
“Isn’t Chinen too young to be listening scary stories so late at night?” Watanabe asked, watching curiously when Chinen smiled at Takaki for saying he could join in too, and automatically came to climb to sit on Takaki’s lap.
“He’s the same age as Hasshi, so not really…” Fukka said, patting the edge of the flashlight against his chin.
“I just still can’t see it…” Watanabe mumbled, eyeing between the two boys. Fukka nodded in agreement, he too eyeing between Hasshi and Chinen, but for a different reason. Was it just his imagination or was Hasshi looking kind of annoyed suddenly..? Fukka lifted the flashlight and directed it to Hasshi’s face, making the younger boy squint his eyes and cover them with his hand.
“Well, anyway, to continue with my story…” Fukka started, but got interrupted again before he could continue.
“Ah, could you wait a little while, I need to use the bathroom?” Hasshi asked, getting up from the bed. “You could explain Chinen what happened in your story earlier.”
“It totally ruins the mood if I go repeating what’s already happened…” Fukka mumbled annoyed, sulking a little as Hasshi headed to the bathroom. But guess he’d have to do that, Chinen looking at him, expecting to hear the story. “Maa, okay then.” Fukka glanced at Takaki, who was looking after Hasshi, or more like at the bathroom door, as Hasshi had already disappeared behind it. “Ah, but before that… Takaki, could you come here for a bit?”
“Hn?” Takaki snapped out of staring at the bathroom door and looked at Fukka, giving a small nod as Chinen moved to sit on the edge of the bed so that Takaki could get up. “What is it..?”
“Just… how much of a Bakaki can you be?” Fukka asked straight away when they were a little distance away from the others, in a whisper so that they wouldn’t hear.
“Eh?” Takaki exclaimed, looking at Fukka all baffled.
“Letting Chinen sit on your lap…” Fukka said, nodding towards the bed where the boy was sitting, now chatting with Watanabe and Iwamoto.
“But… Chinen is always sitting on my lap..?” Takaki said confused, clearly not understanding where Fukka was going with this.
“I know that! But, just… You had Hasshi sitting next to you and you were alone on the bed, so having Chinen on your lap there…” Fukka could tell Takaki was still having no idea what Fukka was going for, so apparently hinting wouldn’t work. “Hasshi got upset, that’s why he went to the bathroom just now. Even though Chinen is small he’s still the same age as Hasshi, so you can’t really expect Hasshi to like it when Chinen sits on you like that. And even if he was younger, you still let him butt in on you two.”
Even if Fukka was explaining it to him, Takaki was still having difficulties of understanding, now because there was too much information at once. “So… Hasshi was jealous? Didn’t he just need to use the bathroom?”
Fukka almost wanted to whacked Takaki but instead settled to just sigh out loud. “Probably that too, but he looked clearly upset when Chinen came to sit on your lap. So when he comes out of the bathroom do something about it. Push him back in there and go kiss him or something.”
And on a perfect timing Hasshi happened to open the bathroom door right then. “Go!” Fukka ordered, giving a small push on Takaki’s back. Fukka watched a little amused as Takaki said something to Hasshi, the younger boy looking a little confused before both of them stepped inside the bathroom, closing the door after themselves. “Okay, so I guess I’ll tell what happened earlier in my story then!” he said, walking back to his place between Watanabe and Iwamoto.

“What is it?” Hasshi asked when Takaki closed the door behind himself.
“Um, I was just wondering… if you were feeling upset, because of Chinen…” Takaki said, scratching the back of his head. He hadn’t really understood everything Fukka said, but he figured out enough.
“Eh?” Hasshi blinked once, looking at Takaki, surprised. Had Takaki actually noticed..?
“Well, Fukka said you looked upset, so…” Takaki continued a bit unsure. Maybe Fukka had been wrong then.
“Oh, so if was Fukka who noticed…” Hasshi said, frowning, and crossed his arms over his chest. Well, Hasshi had thought it was weird if Takaki had actually noticed something like that…
“Ah, so… were you upset then..?” Takaki asked a bit uncertain. At least Hasshi looked upset now…
“What do you care if you didn’t even notice anything in the first place?” Hasshi asked, his voice so clearly annoyed Takaki surely wouldn’t miss it now.
“I just…” Takaki didn’t really know what to say. Fukka had told him to say something to Hasshi, but it looked like he had only gotten the boy more annoyed… “Hasshi…” Takaki said softly, walking up to Hasshi and reaching his arms around the smaller boy’s waist to pull him closer. He leaned forward to press his lips gently over Hasshi’s in a small kiss. “Sorry…”
“Do you even know what you’re saying sorry for?” Hasshi asked, but he had a tiny smile on his lips. “Maa, just forget about it, baka…” Hasshi uncrossed his arms, lifting one of his hands to Takaki’s shirt collar to tug the boy closer so that he could kiss him. Takaki wasn’t really the most perceptive of people so Hasshi should be already used to it.
“For making you upset?” Takaki suggested with a cute tilt of his head.
“Too general!” Hasshi said but laughed. “But it’s okay…” he said, flicking Takaki slightly on the forehead.
“Should I tell Chinen not to sit on my lap then?” Takaki asked, but that only made Hasshi laugh more.
“No, that’d be just weird,” Hasshi said. “I just didn’t like it, Chinen butting in… So I guess it’s my bad, acting spoiled…”
“I don’t mind you acting spoiled…” Takaki said with a sweet smile, leaning to press another kiss on Hasshi’s lips. “And I don’t mind spoiling you.”
“Good,” Hasshi said cutely, sliding his index finger softly over Takaki’s lower lip before kissing him. “Hm, should we go back to listen to Fukka’s story?”
“But I can’t kiss you there…” Takaki said in a little pout, kissing him again as if to prove his point.
Hasshi giggled lightly, answering to Takaki’s kiss. “Hnn, maybe I should come to sleep in your room then?” Hasshi suggested jokingly.
“…You know, I like that idea!” Takaki said, sliding one finger up Hasshi’s back.
“I was joking~” Hasshi said, but thinking about it, it might be nice… Watanabe and Iwamoto probably wouldn’t mind keeping company to Fukka. “C’mon, I wanna hear the rest of Fukka’s story!”

“Eh..?” Yamada snapped awake from his sleep when he heard a light knocking sound from his door. Wasn’t it night still..? The boy turned around to glance at the alarm clock on the bedside table. He had barely fallen asleep yet…
Yamada yawned lazily and pushed himself up, sliding his feet down on the floor and walked to the door to open it. “Yuto..?” he asked, noticing the taller boy standing behind the door.
“Ah, sorry, were you asleep?” Yuto asked, peeking inside from the hallway, not sure if he should come in or not.
“It’s night, that’s what people normally do, right..?” Yamada mumbled, moving a little to the side so that Yuto could come in. “You weren’t asleep yet..?” he asked, yawning again.
“No, it feels weird to be alone…” Yuto answered. “I was reading some magazines, but then I heard some noises from the hallway so I went to check, but no one was there anymore. I thought maybe it was you that left somewhere, but I guess it’s Chinen then, since your rooms are next to mine.”
“Wanna bet Chinen went to sleep with Takaki?” Yamada laughed lightly, now a little more awake. Although, being awake that time of the night wasn’t necessarily a good thing…
“Probably,” Yuto said, laughing too. “Should we go check?”
“Maa, I guess we could, it’s not like I’m going to fall asleep right away now anyway…” Yamada said, patting his index finger against his cheek.
“We don’t have too early wakeup tomorrow morning anyway, so you can manage with less sleep too~” Yuto teased, leaning his chin against Yamada’s shoulder.
“You should already know to take every chance to sleep whenever you can during busy schedule,” Yamada reminded, poking Yuto’s forehead.
“Aww, don’t be boring!” Yuto whined, tugging Yamada on the arm. “Let’s just go!”
“Fine, fine… Just let me get my room key with me,” Yamada said, going to get it from the small table before following Yuto outside to the hallway. “So what, we’re checking Takaki’s room?”
“Nn, let’s start with Chinen’s, to see if he is there or not, and if he’s not, then Takaki’s.” Yuto turned around, passing his own room door and walking up to Chinen’s. He knocked on the door, waited a little while and then knocked a little harder, but there was no answer. “Seems like he’s not there…”
“So let’s see if I was right then and he’s sleeping with Takaki,” Yamada chuckled. “Ah, which one was Takaki’s room?”
Yuto glanced at the doors on the other side of the hallway, tapping one finger against his cheek. “Takaki’s room was… that one…” he said, pointing to the door a little distance away.
“Ne, we should totally spook Takaki when he comes to the door!” Yamada said, holding both his hands on Yuto’s shoulders when they were heading to the door.
“Ha ha, Takaki would totally get scared and scream,” Yuto laughed. “I think that might wake the others up though… but it’d be fun!”
“You know, I really wanna do a wake-up dokkiri like what Kanjani8 did for their latest concert DVD…” Yamada pondered out loud. “Or we could just have a little video camera with us when waking them up.”
“And have a Scream mask on one of us to scare the boys with like NEWS did on their first DVD!” Yuto said. Both of them were getting overly excited over the idea.
“Maa, we can plan doing that for some other night then, but let’s just spook Takaki for now!” Yamada said, grinning at Yuto. “You knock and I scare!”
“Eeh, why do you get to scare..?” Yuto said, pouting a little. “…Fine then…” Yuto stepped closer to knock on the door while Yamada moved on the side so that he could jump to scare Takaki when the boy would open. The boys waited after Yuto knocked, but they heard nothing from the other side of the door. The boys exchanged glances, and Yuto knocked again, this time a little louder, but still nothing.
“Takaki is a deep sleeper, right?” Yamada asked, tilting his head slightly.
“Yeah, but he should still wake up on that…” Yuto pondered. “Or at least Chinen, if he’s there. He’s a light sleeper.”
“So where do you think they are then?” Yamada asked.
“Maybe they mystically disappeared~~” Yuto said in a spooky voice, swooning lightly on his feet but apparently didn’t manage to be scary as Yamada only gave a small glare at him. “Hn, I guess I’d need a flashlight to have a more scary effect.”
“You’re just not scary enough in general,” Yamada said a bit dismissively, ignoring Yuto’s pout. “Anyway, if Chinen isn’t in his own room, and neither he or Takaki are in Takaki’s room..?”
“It’s already late so they wouldn’t have gone anywhere else… so I guess someone else’s room then?” Yuto glanced through the doors down the hallway. “Hikaru’s room is next to Takaki’s?” he suggested. “Although, if we end up waking up others when randomly knocking on the doors, they’re gonna get mad at us…”
“You already randomly woke me up…” Yamada reminded, crossing his arms over his chest as he leered at Yuto.
“Well, yeah… But you’re not angry with me, right?” Yuto asked, giving Yamada his most irresistible smile. The shorter boy just rolled his eyes but didn’t say anything to that. “C’mon, let’s go see if we can find him!”
“Why are we even looking for Chinen..?” Yamada asked, yawning slightly. He was feeling tired again, so he didn’t really remember if Yuto had even established some reason for that to begin with.
“Because we’re bored, right?” Yuto suggested.
“Correction, you are bored, I was sleeping just fine and you woke me up!” Yamada reminded with a bit chilly tone. It was starting to get cold just standing in the hallway, and not having managed to find where Chinen had gone yet he was starting to lose his interest.
“Yama-chan~” Yuto whined in a little voice, pouting. He put both his hands on the shorter boy’s shoulders and shook him slightly. “You wouldn’t leave me alone, would you~?”
Yamada rolled his eyes again, then sighed. Yuto could really be such a brat sometimes… “Fine, but if we wake up any others and they get mad at us, I’m out! I don’t want any of the others being cranky at me during concert tomorrow.”
Yuto was nodding eagerly, but it was pretty clear he was barely paying any attention to what Yamada was saying. “Jaa, so Hikaru’s room is next… Are we gonna try spooking him?”
“You can do that if you want, I’m not going to!” Yamada said, suddenly looking horrified. “Can you imagine Hikaru’s wrath if he gets woken up, let alone if he gets spooked!” Yamada’s mind was already considering all the different possibilities of what Hikaru might do as a payback.
“I don’t think Hikaru would be asleep yet…” Yuto pondered, tapping his index finger against his lower lip as he stopped in front of Hikaru’s room door. “But I think you’re right. Hikaru would demand a payback for getting spooked. So let’s just try knocking.”
Yamada remained a little distance away from the door when Yuto knocked. He knew Hikaru probably was still awake, but he still didn’t wanna risk having to face angry Hikaru. The pair exchanged glances when after waiting a little while there was still no answer. Yuto tried again, a little louder, but again nothing.
Without even saying anything, Yuto spun around and headed for the next door, knocking onto it, not even bothering to knock quietly at first anymore. But that room didn’t have anyone opening up either. “Okay this is starting to get weird already!”
“That’s Inoo’s room…” Yamada pondered out loud. “So he’s not there either? That means that almost half of us aren’t in our rooms…”
“Well, technically more than half, since we’re not in our rooms either,” Yamada corrected, because Chinen, Takaki, Hikaru, Inoo plus them already made six. “But at least we’re in the hallway so it’s not like we’ve disappeared anywhere.”
“Next one is Dai-chan’s…” Yuto said, glancing at the door next to Inoo’s room. “I swear, if there’s no one there either I’m going back into my room and will hide under the blanket for the rest of the night because this is getting creepy! No, on another thought, can I come sleep in your room?”
“Eh? The rooms only have one bed!” Yamada reminded, a little taken aback by Yuto’s question. Sure, it felt a little weird no one was in their own rooms but it wasn’t like Yamada was feeling spooked by it… Yuto was simply overreacting.
“They’re big enough beds so both of us can fit to sleep there?” Yuto suggested, trying to give Yamada his most charming look.
“No way, you kick in your sleep so I’m not sharing a bed with you,” Yamada said strictly, sticking his tongue out at Yuto. “You just go sleep in your own room, or if you’re too scared you can sleep on the floor.”
“Yama-chan~” Yuto tried whining, but the other boy didn’t seem to be persuaded so easily. When the whining wasn’t helping Yuto simply pouted, and decided inside his head he’d just whine some more later about it when they’d be in Yamada’s room. He was sure the boy would eventually give up and let him sleep in the same bed. After all, when the boys used to share rooms in the past, Yuto almost always crawled into Yamada’s bed to sleep with him, and most of the time the boy didn’t mind either.
“Just knock on the door already so that I can go back to sleep…” Yamada said with a sigh. Even though he hadn’t felt sleepy after Yuto had woken him up, he was starting to again.

“I’m tired, so you two go back to your own rooms!” Daiki said in a bit whiny voice, trying to push both the boys on his sides away from him. Why was it that both of them were either moving closer or trying to pull Daiki closer to them even when he was trying to move away himself!
“But I’m not tired…” Hikaru whined, poking Daiki on the cheek to get the boy to look at him.
“I don’t care, I am~” Daiki said, rolling his eyes at Hikaru before looking up at the ceiling and crossing his arms over his chest.
“Uwah, Dai-chan is so mean!” Hikaru said in a dramatic voice, hitting his palm on his own forehead.
“Yeah, Hikaru, just go back to your own room to sleep…” Inoo said with a little smirk, looking at Hikaru over Daiki.
“Oi, that meant you too!” Hikaru snapped at Inoo, pushing himself up to sit on the bed.
Daiki made an exaggerated sigh and pulled the pillow to cover his face. No, Daiki wasn’t feeling that tired yet, but still enough so that Hikaru and Inoo bickering about something random with each other on either side of Daiki was annoying him. Maybe Daiki was just bored, he wondered inside his head. Laying down like that was boring, and it was also making him feel tired…
“Dai-chan, don’t go hiding~” Hikaru said in a teasing voice. He was already sitting on the bed, so he got an idea and moved to sit over Daiki, straddling him, and leaned to snatch the pillow away. “Ne, are you really tired or just annoyed or bored?” Hikaru asked with a teasing smile.
Daiki tried to reach for the pillow but Hikaru was holding it over his head so he couldn’t. “Does it matter? Besides, what are you doing?”
“Hn, if you’re feeling bored, there are ways to fix that…” Hikaru said with a suddenly wicked grin before he quickly leaned down and pressed his lips against Daiki’s. He could feel Daiki freeze under him, and even though he wasn’t really paying attention to Inoo he knew the older boy was at least just as shocked as Daiki.
“What do you think you’re doing!” Inoo exclaimed once he had gotten over his shock at seeing Hikaru out of the blue kissing Daiki, and pushed Hikaru away from over the youngest boy.
“Duh, kissing Dai-chan,” Hikaru said like it should be completely obvious. Of course it was, since Inoo could see he had just kissed Daiki, but that wasn’t really the kind of an answer Inoo was expecting. Hikaru was still smirking, clearly both amused by the other two’s reactions as well as the fact that he had even managed to get a reaction like that with something as simple as a small kiss.
“I know that!” Inoo almost shouted, his face red, although he didn’t even know himself if it was from anger, embarrassment or what. “I meant what do you think you were doing, doing something like that!”
Hikaru turned to look down at Daiki, whose face was slowly growing more and more pink, as if only gradually realizing what Hikaru had just done. Hikaru thought that looked incredibly cute… “Just felt like it~” Hikaru said simply. “If Dai-chan was feeling bored, or tired too, that’s at least something we could do… Ne, Dai-chan~” Hikaru asked, a suspiciously sweet smile on his lips as he leaned a bit closer to Daiki. He could barely keep from giggling when Daiki automatically tried moving away, even though he had his back against the bed and Inoo blocking his escape route on the other side so he couldn‘t.
“Just… felt like it..?” Inoo repeated, as if not believing Hikaru could be serious with this.
Hikaru turned his gaze from Daiki up to Inoo. “Hnn, maybe Inoo-chan is jealous? Should I have kissed you instead?” Hikaru asked, and burst out laughing. But once calmed down he took a closer look at Inoo’s face, inspecting it. “Hm, no… maybe, Inoo-chan wanted to kiss Dai-chan then..?” Hikaru started laughing again, but this time it was because Inoo’s whole face flashed bright red. “Bingo! I was right, wasn’t I?”
Inoo was opening and closing his mouth, trying to figure out something to answer Hikaru - preferably to yell at him - but he couldn’t come up with anything to say. What… what was Hikaru saying!?
Daiki was totally not following what was happening. His face was still red, and his eyes kept shifting between Hikaru and Inoo on his sides. What the boys were saying was making no sense at all!
Hikaru pretended to be frowning slightly before he leaned down to take a hold of Daiki’s arm and pull the boy up. “What, you don’t want to?” he asked, looking at Inoo. “Maa, if Inoo-chan doesn’t want to kiss Dai-chan…”
“No!” Inoo said sharply and reached to pull Daiki away from Hikaru before the boy could kiss him again. Hikaru had already been leaning in, and couldn’t decide now if he wanted to be amused by the reaction he had expected from Inoo, or annoyed that he didn’t get to kiss Daiki again. Inoo hugged Daiki protectively close against himself, glaring at Hikaru on the other edge of the bed.
“Well, are you gonna kiss Dai-chan then?” Hikaru asked in a bit whiny voice, obviously hinting if Inoo wasn’t going to Hikaru wanted to do it, although probably neither Inoo or Daiki were able to pick that up from his tone.
“Wha… I… of co…I… um…” Inoo was barely able to come up with a single word, let alone a whole sentence to answer Hikaru.
Hikaru only smirked at Inoo’s stutters, and before neither of the other boys could do anything he had already leaned forward and placed his lips on Daiki’s again. Inoo almost made both Daiki and himself fall off the bed as he moved to pull Daiki away from Hikaru.
“What, if you’re not gonna kiss him, why can’t I?” Hikaru asked, faking a pout. “Don’t you wanna kiss Dai-chan?”
“So what if I want to!” Inoo shouted before he could stop himself, realizing only after what he had said and blushed furiously at hearing his own words. He could barely even notice Hikaru’s victorious grin at hearing Inoo say that.
“I knew it~” Hikaru said in a singsong voice, smiling extremely wide. Even Daiki had forgotten to watch out in case Hikaru would try kissing him again, and was looking up instead, trying to see Inoo’s face which right now was burning red. “After all, who wouldn’t want to kiss our little Dai-chan~”
“Would you stop calling me little!” Daiki shouted, taking the chance to grab onto the one thing he wasn’t too embarrassed to talk about.
“Oh, so me calling you little does bother you, but not me kissing you?” Hikaru asked, immediately taking the chance given by Daiki’s outburst. “Jaa, how about Inoo-chan kissing you then?”
“Hikaru, if you don’t shut up now…” Inoo started, but a loud knock from the door interrupted his threat.
“What!?” Both Inoo and Hikaru called at the same time - Daiki had been rendered speechless by Hikaru asking if he didn’t mind the kiss - and after a few seconds the door was pushed open, although a little hesitantly, most likely because of the angry tone in both the boys’ voices.
Yuto and Yamada peeked inside from the doorway, and Yuto seemed to be almost sighing in relief for seeing that not only was Daiki in the room, but also two of the other boys who were missing from their rooms. “Ah, I’m so happy you’re all here! I was already starting to get paranoid when we found no one and…”
“Out!” both Inoo and Hikaru shouted, again exactly at the same time.
“E-eh!?” Yuto blinked, looking at the trio on the bed confused, then glanced at Yamada by the doorway - the shorter boy hadn’t stepped inside - and then looked back at the trio again. He was about to ask why, but both Hikaru and Inoo were glaring him with such a death glare he decided it was better for his health to leave as soon as possible.
Once the door clicked to a close, Hikaru and Inoo settled back to staring at each other, Hikaru with an amused, challenging smirk, and Inoo with an angry glare, Daiki sitting between them, Inoo’s arms still mostly around him.
“So…” Hikaru started, his smirk growing wider again. “You said you wanted to kiss Dai-chan…

“…What was that all about..?” Yuto wondered out loud, clearly shocked by how Inoo and Hikaru had yelled at him to go away. Yuto hadn’t even gotten to say why he had come there!
“I have no idea, but I know we’re doomed!” Yamada said, maybe a bit overdramatically but still actually serious. “With Hikaru that angry, we’re gonna suffer from it later! And Inoo too! Even though he appears so nice, he does a lot of pranks right? Didn’t he mess something into Hasshi’s hair wax once? I think it was soy sauce and soap and… Aaah, I don’t want anything happening to my hair!!” Yamada slid fingers of his both hands through his hair as if to check if it was okay, even though nothing could magically happen to them anyway.
“I… I guess so…” Yuto said with a small nod, swallowing a little nervously. He had no idea why the two had been so angry - Daiki had been in the room too but hadn’t said anything, even though it was his room! “I don’t know if they even noticed you since you didn’t come inside… so I think you’re safe…”
“Aaah, thank goodness…” Yamada sighed, clearly relieved.
“Oi, what about me!” Yuto exclaimed, looking at Yamada with a pained expression.
“You’ve got my sympathies,” Yamada said simply, with a little smile on his lips. “Anyway, how about going back to sleep now?”
“I guess…” Yuto started saying, but only then remembered why they had started going through the rooms in the first place. “Ah, but we still haven’t found Chinen! And Takaki is still missing too.”
“Who cares about Chinen or Takaki when it’s this late…” Yamada whined, trying to suppress a yawn. “C’mon, I’ll let you sleep in my bed! We only have Yabu, Keito and Ryutaro left, and I kinda doubt Yabu or Keito would have any of the others in their rooms this time of the night, so probably Ryutaro then, although he’s normally asleep this time so…”
“You know, maybe we should be thinking outside the group here,” Yuto then said, patting one finger against his cheek, apparently pretty much having forgotten about fearing what Hikaru and Inoo might do to him later. “If I heard Chinen leaving his room just before I got out, Takaki probably left before him, and thinking to whose room Takaki would go to…
The two boys turned to look at each other and spoke exactly at the same time: “Hasshi!”

“…and the girl ran to the next room, but before he could try locking it, the murderer had already pulled it open! A loud scream went through the whole house when…”
Fukka story got interrupted yet again when the door to Hasshi and his room was flung open with no warning. However, thanks to the eerie atmosphere his story had created to the room, every one of the boys got spooked by the door suddenly opening as if on its own, and they back away from it, shouting.
Yuto and Yamada, having gotten bored of knocking on people’s doors so many times already had decided to just try if the door would happen to be open, and it turned out to be. However, being greeted by the scared shouts of the six other boys, they probably wished they had knocked after all. Both Yuto and Yamada almost escaped from the room right away, screaming themselves because of the shouts from inside the room.
“What the hell do you two think you’re doing! Running into other peoples’ rooms like that!” Takaki shouted at the two, his voice more than a little higher pitch than it normally was. He thought his heart had would have jumped from his chest from a scare like that!
“Wha-what were you all screaming like that for!” Yuto shouted back, returning back to the room, Yamada sneaking in after him.
“We were telling scary stories and you walked in at the most scary part of my story!” Fukka said, flashing the light of his flash light towards the pair still near the doorway. “Don’t you know how to knock!”
“You guys, quiet down,” Hasshi warned when everyone was being too loud. “If you make too much noise, we’re gonna…” Hasshi stopped talking, everyone in the room quieting down to listen to the fast, angry footsteps coming down the hall.
“Everyone, hide!” Fukka hissed to everyone in the room, but before the boys could barely even move from where they were now, their manager was already standing in the doorway.
“Exactly what do you think you’re doing!?” the manager said, clearly angry, glaring through the boys in the room. Other than Fukka and Hasshi whose room it was, there were now six others in there. “All of you boys should be asleep already, so everyone back your own rooms! Now!
None of the boys were even trying to come up with any excuses or arguments, instead the ones still sitting on the bed got up immediately and all of them, minus Hasshi and Fukka, headed out of the room, commanded by the manager - none of them were stupid enough to try saying anything back when the manager was angry.
Before Takaki completely passed Hasshi though, he leaned to whisper to the younger boy’s ear. “I’ll leave my door unlocked in case you’d want to come sleep together after the manager leaves…”
“Takaki, you too, out!” the manager said sharply after noticing Takaki stopping to lean to Hasshi. The boy quickly hurried out of the room, and the manager left soon after him, having first glared at the two boys who stayed behind the room as if to make sure neither of the two would consider having any of the other boys there anymore.
“I didn’t get to tell the rest of my story…” Fukka whined, a bit unwillingly pulling the blanket over himself. “You wanna hear the rest of it now?”
“Mm, I was thinking I might go to Takaki’s room to sleep… do you mind?” Hasshi asked, blushing a little when Fukka gave him a suspicious glare.
“Abandoning me, are you?” Fukka asked dramatically, but laughed when Hasshi looked a little miserable at him saying it. “Just go, I’ll go spook Shota and Hikaru with the rest of my story instead! At least they know how to be quiet enough not to get caught! Just, we need to make sure the manager isn’t in the hallway anymore first…”

Sorry, I'm feeling random XD (Fyi for those who haven't read some of my older fics, I've often had Kisumai ojisan trio as my "commentors" at the end of the fics, but I haven't done that for a while...)

Because Sleeping Alone Is Boring
“Dai-chan, can I come in?” Inoo asked, knocking on Daiki’s door. It was in the middle of their concert tour, so the boys were staying at a hotel. It was already late, so all the boys were in their own rooms sleeping, or that was what they were supposed to be doing at least.
Daiki pushed himself up to sit on the bed. “It’s open so just come in!” the boy shouted back, looking towards the door when Inoo opened it and came inside.
“It feels weird… Being alone in the hotel room”, Inoo said with a bit meek smile as he walked to Daiki’s bed.
“Aaah, tell me about it!” Daiki said in a loud sigh, falling back on the bed. “Totally weird, because as juniors we’d always share the rooms with like one or two others. Being alone is so booooring…”
“If you’re so bored why didn’t you come to my room then?” Inoo asked a bit accusingly as he sat on the edge of Daiki’s bed.
The younger boy turned on his side, propping his head up with his arm and stuck his tongue out at Inoo. “Maa, I was thinking about it…” he said with a little laughter.
“…But were too lazy to actually get up?” Inoo suggested, laughing at Daiki’s expression when the boy frowned at him.
“Not really lazy…” Daiki defended himself, poking Inoo on the arm. “Just, when you’re alone there’s not really much to do other than be lazy…”
There was another knock on the door, interrupting what Daiki was saying. “Dai-chan, I’m bored, let me in!” Hikaru’s voice called from the other side of the door.
“It’s not locked!” Daiki shouted back, not bothering to push himself back up again, just barely turning to look at the door when Hikaru came in.
“It’s so boring there on my own!” Hikaru whined, walking to the bed. “Eh, Inoo-chan’s here too?” Hikaru asked surprised when he noticed the boy sitting on the edge of the bed.
“Like you said, it’s boring by yourself,” Inoo said with a smile.
“And you came to Dai-chan instead of me…” Hikaru said in a dramatic sigh, pretending to be about to cry.”
“Didn’t you come too?” Inoo asked, smirking at Hikaru.
“Ha ha, I guess so,” Hikaru laughed, bouncing onto the bed to lay down next to Daiki on the opposite site where Inoo was sitting. “Maa, Dai-chan is cuter so that’s why?”
“What kind of a reason is that? Oi, don’t crush me!” Daiki said, partially annoyed but also laughing when Hikaru leaned on his chest.
“But it’s true after all!” Hikaru laughed, ignoring Inoo’s glare at him when he was being too touchy feely with Daiki.
Daiki stuck his tongue out at Hikaru, pushing the boy off himself. “I don’t want to hear that from you~” he said, pushing the boy away when Hikaru just laughed and came closer again.
Inoo glared at Hikaru again before laying down on the other side of Daiki himself. He reached his arm around Daiki’s waist, pulling the boy a little bit away from Hikaru.
“What are you doing now?” Daiki asked from Inoo now, poking Inoo on the chest. “I don’t think my bed is big enough for three people…”
“It’s big enough, me and Inoo-chan are so skinny and Dai-chan is all tiny,” Hikaru laughed, moving a little bit closer to Daiki now that Inoo had pulled him away from him.
“Go sleep in your own beds if you wanna lay down,” Daiki complained, crossing his arms over his chest. Hikaru just had to use the chance to tease him about being small…
“I don’t wanna sleep yet…” Inoo whined, smiling a little. He still had his arm around Daiki, and the boy hadn’t pushed his arm away.
“Why did they have to put us in different rooms anyway, there’s nothing you can do on your own but sleep…” Hikaru mumbled, kicking his legs on the edge of the bed, slightly annoyed.
“Maybe that was the whole point, so we’d sleep?” Daiki suggested, giggling a bit.
“What they’re doing is just forcing us to hang around in each others’ rooms,” Inoo laughed. “So it’s not working. And it‘s unfair too, since Fukka and the others get to share a room with someone else so they‘re not lonely…”
“Wanna go back being a junior?” Daiki asked, grinning at Inoo.
“I didn’t say that,” Inoo said, sticking his tongue out at Daiki. “It’s just weird. Hm, but I wonder if the others stayed in their rooms…”
* * * * * * * * * *
“…And when the girl opened the door to the attic, a strong wind suddenly blew out the light on the candle on her hand. Being suddenly swallowed by the darkness around her, she felt something cold touching her should as she…”
“Takaki if you hold onto my hand any tighter you’re gonna be crushing bones!” Hasshi suddenly exclaimed, pulling his hand away from Takaki.
“Hasshi, shush, you’re ruining the best part in my story!” Fukka complained, pointing the flashlight he had been holding towards his face as he had been telling his scary story at Hasshi. It was pretty dark in the room, but Hasshi could see Iwamoto’s and Watanabe’s amused grins from either side of Fukka.
“It’s not my fault, Takaki is such a baby and being so scared he’s breaking my fingers~” Hasshi whined, rubbing his fingers with the other hand as he glared at Takaki next to him. Hasshi was sharing a hotel room with Fukka, but Takaki had gotten bored being in his own room alone and had joined them, and so had Iwamoto and Watanabe from the next door room.
“I’m not scared!” Takaki tried defending himself, but his slightly squeaky voice wasn’t making it the least bit believable. “I’m only sitting so close in case you get scared…” The two boys were sitting next to each other on Hasshi’s bed, the blanket pulled over their heads.
“No one’s believing that!” Hasshi laughed, flicking Takaki on the forehead.
“Would you two stop already~” Fukka sulked, crossing his arms over his chest. “I want to finish my story! Shota, go sit between them!”
“Eh?” Watanabe turned to look at Fukka, not really following with what the boy was saying.
The boy was apparently being too slow because Fukka was already looking at Iwamoto on his other side. “Fine, Hikaru, you go sit between them.”
“We’re quiet, we’re quiet!” Hasshi ensured, but made sure to elbow Takaki on the stomach before settling to sit in a better position next to the boy.
Fukka glared at the pair suspiciously for a few seconds before directing the flashlight back to his face. “Okay, so where was I..? Ah, something cold touching against…”
When a light knocking from the door interrupted Fukka’s story before he even got to continue again, the boy let out a frustrated moan and fell on the bed over surprised Watanabe. Watanabe looked down at Fukka confused, but became even more puzzled when he saw Iwamoto giving him a death glare from the other side of Fukka. “What noooow~?” Fukka whined.
“It’s open,” Hasshi called to the door, pushing the blanket from over his head so that he could see who it was now. The door was pushed open and Chinen stepped inside, looking a bit wary as the room was so dark. “Ah, Chinen? You’re not sleeping yet?”
The youngest boy shook his head. “No, it’s weird to be sleeping there alone, and I wasn’t feeling that tired either…” Chinen said, looking around a little confused as to why the boys were sitting in a dark room with a flashlight. “I went to see if Takaki was still awake but there was no answer so I thought maybe he was here…”
“We’re telling scary stories together,” Takaki explained. “You can come join us too if you want.”
“Isn’t Chinen too young to be listening scary stories so late at night?” Watanabe asked, watching curiously when Chinen smiled at Takaki for saying he could join in too, and automatically came to climb to sit on Takaki’s lap.
“He’s the same age as Hasshi, so not really…” Fukka said, patting the edge of the flashlight against his chin.
“I just still can’t see it…” Watanabe mumbled, eyeing between the two boys. Fukka nodded in agreement, he too eyeing between Hasshi and Chinen, but for a different reason. Was it just his imagination or was Hasshi looking kind of annoyed suddenly..? Fukka lifted the flashlight and directed it to Hasshi’s face, making the younger boy squint his eyes and cover them with his hand.
“Well, anyway, to continue with my story…” Fukka started, but got interrupted again before he could continue.
“Ah, could you wait a little while, I need to use the bathroom?” Hasshi asked, getting up from the bed. “You could explain Chinen what happened in your story earlier.”
“It totally ruins the mood if I go repeating what’s already happened…” Fukka mumbled annoyed, sulking a little as Hasshi headed to the bathroom. But guess he’d have to do that, Chinen looking at him, expecting to hear the story. “Maa, okay then.” Fukka glanced at Takaki, who was looking after Hasshi, or more like at the bathroom door, as Hasshi had already disappeared behind it. “Ah, but before that… Takaki, could you come here for a bit?”
“Hn?” Takaki snapped out of staring at the bathroom door and looked at Fukka, giving a small nod as Chinen moved to sit on the edge of the bed so that Takaki could get up. “What is it..?”
“Just… how much of a Bakaki can you be?” Fukka asked straight away when they were a little distance away from the others, in a whisper so that they wouldn’t hear.
“Eh?” Takaki exclaimed, looking at Fukka all baffled.
“Letting Chinen sit on your lap…” Fukka said, nodding towards the bed where the boy was sitting, now chatting with Watanabe and Iwamoto.
“But… Chinen is always sitting on my lap..?” Takaki said confused, clearly not understanding where Fukka was going with this.
“I know that! But, just… You had Hasshi sitting next to you and you were alone on the bed, so having Chinen on your lap there…” Fukka could tell Takaki was still having no idea what Fukka was going for, so apparently hinting wouldn’t work. “Hasshi got upset, that’s why he went to the bathroom just now. Even though Chinen is small he’s still the same age as Hasshi, so you can’t really expect Hasshi to like it when Chinen sits on you like that. And even if he was younger, you still let him butt in on you two.”
Even if Fukka was explaining it to him, Takaki was still having difficulties of understanding, now because there was too much information at once. “So… Hasshi was jealous? Didn’t he just need to use the bathroom?”
Fukka almost wanted to whacked Takaki but instead settled to just sigh out loud. “Probably that too, but he looked clearly upset when Chinen came to sit on your lap. So when he comes out of the bathroom do something about it. Push him back in there and go kiss him or something.”
And on a perfect timing Hasshi happened to open the bathroom door right then. “Go!” Fukka ordered, giving a small push on Takaki’s back. Fukka watched a little amused as Takaki said something to Hasshi, the younger boy looking a little confused before both of them stepped inside the bathroom, closing the door after themselves. “Okay, so I guess I’ll tell what happened earlier in my story then!” he said, walking back to his place between Watanabe and Iwamoto.

“What is it?” Hasshi asked when Takaki closed the door behind himself.
“Um, I was just wondering… if you were feeling upset, because of Chinen…” Takaki said, scratching the back of his head. He hadn’t really understood everything Fukka said, but he figured out enough.
“Eh?” Hasshi blinked once, looking at Takaki, surprised. Had Takaki actually noticed..?
“Well, Fukka said you looked upset, so…” Takaki continued a bit unsure. Maybe Fukka had been wrong then.
“Oh, so if was Fukka who noticed…” Hasshi said, frowning, and crossed his arms over his chest. Well, Hasshi had thought it was weird if Takaki had actually noticed something like that…
“Ah, so… were you upset then..?” Takaki asked a bit uncertain. At least Hasshi looked upset now…
“What do you care if you didn’t even notice anything in the first place?” Hasshi asked, his voice so clearly annoyed Takaki surely wouldn’t miss it now.
“I just…” Takaki didn’t really know what to say. Fukka had told him to say something to Hasshi, but it looked like he had only gotten the boy more annoyed… “Hasshi…” Takaki said softly, walking up to Hasshi and reaching his arms around the smaller boy’s waist to pull him closer. He leaned forward to press his lips gently over Hasshi’s in a small kiss. “Sorry…”
“Do you even know what you’re saying sorry for?” Hasshi asked, but he had a tiny smile on his lips. “Maa, just forget about it, baka…” Hasshi uncrossed his arms, lifting one of his hands to Takaki’s shirt collar to tug the boy closer so that he could kiss him. Takaki wasn’t really the most perceptive of people so Hasshi should be already used to it.
“For making you upset?” Takaki suggested with a cute tilt of his head.
“Too general!” Hasshi said but laughed. “But it’s okay…” he said, flicking Takaki slightly on the forehead.
“Should I tell Chinen not to sit on my lap then?” Takaki asked, but that only made Hasshi laugh more.
“No, that’d be just weird,” Hasshi said. “I just didn’t like it, Chinen butting in… So I guess it’s my bad, acting spoiled…”
“I don’t mind you acting spoiled…” Takaki said with a sweet smile, leaning to press another kiss on Hasshi’s lips. “And I don’t mind spoiling you.”
“Good,” Hasshi said cutely, sliding his index finger softly over Takaki’s lower lip before kissing him. “Hm, should we go back to listen to Fukka’s story?”
“But I can’t kiss you there…” Takaki said in a little pout, kissing him again as if to prove his point.
Hasshi giggled lightly, answering to Takaki’s kiss. “Hnn, maybe I should come to sleep in your room then?” Hasshi suggested jokingly.
“…You know, I like that idea!” Takaki said, sliding one finger up Hasshi’s back.
“I was joking~” Hasshi said, but thinking about it, it might be nice… Watanabe and Iwamoto probably wouldn’t mind keeping company to Fukka. “C’mon, I wanna hear the rest of Fukka’s story!”

“Eh..?” Yamada snapped awake from his sleep when he heard a light knocking sound from his door. Wasn’t it night still..? The boy turned around to glance at the alarm clock on the bedside table. He had barely fallen asleep yet…
Yamada yawned lazily and pushed himself up, sliding his feet down on the floor and walked to the door to open it. “Yuto..?” he asked, noticing the taller boy standing behind the door.
“Ah, sorry, were you asleep?” Yuto asked, peeking inside from the hallway, not sure if he should come in or not.
“It’s night, that’s what people normally do, right..?” Yamada mumbled, moving a little to the side so that Yuto could come in. “You weren’t asleep yet..?” he asked, yawning again.
“No, it feels weird to be alone…” Yuto answered. “I was reading some magazines, but then I heard some noises from the hallway so I went to check, but no one was there anymore. I thought maybe it was you that left somewhere, but I guess it’s Chinen then, since your rooms are next to mine.”
“Wanna bet Chinen went to sleep with Takaki?” Yamada laughed lightly, now a little more awake. Although, being awake that time of the night wasn’t necessarily a good thing…
“Probably,” Yuto said, laughing too. “Should we go check?”
“Maa, I guess we could, it’s not like I’m going to fall asleep right away now anyway…” Yamada said, patting his index finger against his cheek.
“We don’t have too early wakeup tomorrow morning anyway, so you can manage with less sleep too~” Yuto teased, leaning his chin against Yamada’s shoulder.
“You should already know to take every chance to sleep whenever you can during busy schedule,” Yamada reminded, poking Yuto’s forehead.
“Aww, don’t be boring!” Yuto whined, tugging Yamada on the arm. “Let’s just go!”
“Fine, fine… Just let me get my room key with me,” Yamada said, going to get it from the small table before following Yuto outside to the hallway. “So what, we’re checking Takaki’s room?”
“Nn, let’s start with Chinen’s, to see if he is there or not, and if he’s not, then Takaki’s.” Yuto turned around, passing his own room door and walking up to Chinen’s. He knocked on the door, waited a little while and then knocked a little harder, but there was no answer. “Seems like he’s not there…”
“So let’s see if I was right then and he’s sleeping with Takaki,” Yamada chuckled. “Ah, which one was Takaki’s room?”
Yuto glanced at the doors on the other side of the hallway, tapping one finger against his cheek. “Takaki’s room was… that one…” he said, pointing to the door a little distance away.
“Ne, we should totally spook Takaki when he comes to the door!” Yamada said, holding both his hands on Yuto’s shoulders when they were heading to the door.
“Ha ha, Takaki would totally get scared and scream,” Yuto laughed. “I think that might wake the others up though… but it’d be fun!”
“You know, I really wanna do a wake-up dokkiri like what Kanjani8 did for their latest concert DVD…” Yamada pondered out loud. “Or we could just have a little video camera with us when waking them up.”
“And have a Scream mask on one of us to scare the boys with like NEWS did on their first DVD!” Yuto said. Both of them were getting overly excited over the idea.
“Maa, we can plan doing that for some other night then, but let’s just spook Takaki for now!” Yamada said, grinning at Yuto. “You knock and I scare!”
“Eeh, why do you get to scare..?” Yuto said, pouting a little. “…Fine then…” Yuto stepped closer to knock on the door while Yamada moved on the side so that he could jump to scare Takaki when the boy would open. The boys waited after Yuto knocked, but they heard nothing from the other side of the door. The boys exchanged glances, and Yuto knocked again, this time a little louder, but still nothing.
“Takaki is a deep sleeper, right?” Yamada asked, tilting his head slightly.
“Yeah, but he should still wake up on that…” Yuto pondered. “Or at least Chinen, if he’s there. He’s a light sleeper.”
“So where do you think they are then?” Yamada asked.
“Maybe they mystically disappeared~~” Yuto said in a spooky voice, swooning lightly on his feet but apparently didn’t manage to be scary as Yamada only gave a small glare at him. “Hn, I guess I’d need a flashlight to have a more scary effect.”
“You’re just not scary enough in general,” Yamada said a bit dismissively, ignoring Yuto’s pout. “Anyway, if Chinen isn’t in his own room, and neither he or Takaki are in Takaki’s room..?”
“It’s already late so they wouldn’t have gone anywhere else… so I guess someone else’s room then?” Yuto glanced through the doors down the hallway. “Hikaru’s room is next to Takaki’s?” he suggested. “Although, if we end up waking up others when randomly knocking on the doors, they’re gonna get mad at us…”
“You already randomly woke me up…” Yamada reminded, crossing his arms over his chest as he leered at Yuto.
“Well, yeah… But you’re not angry with me, right?” Yuto asked, giving Yamada his most irresistible smile. The shorter boy just rolled his eyes but didn’t say anything to that. “C’mon, let’s go see if we can find him!”
“Why are we even looking for Chinen..?” Yamada asked, yawning slightly. He was feeling tired again, so he didn’t really remember if Yuto had even established some reason for that to begin with.
“Because we’re bored, right?” Yuto suggested.
“Correction, you are bored, I was sleeping just fine and you woke me up!” Yamada reminded with a bit chilly tone. It was starting to get cold just standing in the hallway, and not having managed to find where Chinen had gone yet he was starting to lose his interest.
“Yama-chan~” Yuto whined in a little voice, pouting. He put both his hands on the shorter boy’s shoulders and shook him slightly. “You wouldn’t leave me alone, would you~?”
Yamada rolled his eyes again, then sighed. Yuto could really be such a brat sometimes… “Fine, but if we wake up any others and they get mad at us, I’m out! I don’t want any of the others being cranky at me during concert tomorrow.”
Yuto was nodding eagerly, but it was pretty clear he was barely paying any attention to what Yamada was saying. “Jaa, so Hikaru’s room is next… Are we gonna try spooking him?”
“You can do that if you want, I’m not going to!” Yamada said, suddenly looking horrified. “Can you imagine Hikaru’s wrath if he gets woken up, let alone if he gets spooked!” Yamada’s mind was already considering all the different possibilities of what Hikaru might do as a payback.
“I don’t think Hikaru would be asleep yet…” Yuto pondered, tapping his index finger against his lower lip as he stopped in front of Hikaru’s room door. “But I think you’re right. Hikaru would demand a payback for getting spooked. So let’s just try knocking.”
Yamada remained a little distance away from the door when Yuto knocked. He knew Hikaru probably was still awake, but he still didn’t wanna risk having to face angry Hikaru. The pair exchanged glances when after waiting a little while there was still no answer. Yuto tried again, a little louder, but again nothing.
Without even saying anything, Yuto spun around and headed for the next door, knocking onto it, not even bothering to knock quietly at first anymore. But that room didn’t have anyone opening up either. “Okay this is starting to get weird already!”
“That’s Inoo’s room…” Yamada pondered out loud. “So he’s not there either? That means that almost half of us aren’t in our rooms…”
“Well, technically more than half, since we’re not in our rooms either,” Yamada corrected, because Chinen, Takaki, Hikaru, Inoo plus them already made six. “But at least we’re in the hallway so it’s not like we’ve disappeared anywhere.”
“Next one is Dai-chan’s…” Yuto said, glancing at the door next to Inoo’s room. “I swear, if there’s no one there either I’m going back into my room and will hide under the blanket for the rest of the night because this is getting creepy! No, on another thought, can I come sleep in your room?”
“Eh? The rooms only have one bed!” Yamada reminded, a little taken aback by Yuto’s question. Sure, it felt a little weird no one was in their own rooms but it wasn’t like Yamada was feeling spooked by it… Yuto was simply overreacting.
“They’re big enough beds so both of us can fit to sleep there?” Yuto suggested, trying to give Yamada his most charming look.
“No way, you kick in your sleep so I’m not sharing a bed with you,” Yamada said strictly, sticking his tongue out at Yuto. “You just go sleep in your own room, or if you’re too scared you can sleep on the floor.”
“Yama-chan~” Yuto tried whining, but the other boy didn’t seem to be persuaded so easily. When the whining wasn’t helping Yuto simply pouted, and decided inside his head he’d just whine some more later about it when they’d be in Yamada’s room. He was sure the boy would eventually give up and let him sleep in the same bed. After all, when the boys used to share rooms in the past, Yuto almost always crawled into Yamada’s bed to sleep with him, and most of the time the boy didn’t mind either.
“Just knock on the door already so that I can go back to sleep…” Yamada said with a sigh. Even though he hadn’t felt sleepy after Yuto had woken him up, he was starting to again.

“I’m tired, so you two go back to your own rooms!” Daiki said in a bit whiny voice, trying to push both the boys on his sides away from him. Why was it that both of them were either moving closer or trying to pull Daiki closer to them even when he was trying to move away himself!
“But I’m not tired…” Hikaru whined, poking Daiki on the cheek to get the boy to look at him.
“I don’t care, I am~” Daiki said, rolling his eyes at Hikaru before looking up at the ceiling and crossing his arms over his chest.
“Uwah, Dai-chan is so mean!” Hikaru said in a dramatic voice, hitting his palm on his own forehead.
“Yeah, Hikaru, just go back to your own room to sleep…” Inoo said with a little smirk, looking at Hikaru over Daiki.
“Oi, that meant you too!” Hikaru snapped at Inoo, pushing himself up to sit on the bed.
Daiki made an exaggerated sigh and pulled the pillow to cover his face. No, Daiki wasn’t feeling that tired yet, but still enough so that Hikaru and Inoo bickering about something random with each other on either side of Daiki was annoying him. Maybe Daiki was just bored, he wondered inside his head. Laying down like that was boring, and it was also making him feel tired…
“Dai-chan, don’t go hiding~” Hikaru said in a teasing voice. He was already sitting on the bed, so he got an idea and moved to sit over Daiki, straddling him, and leaned to snatch the pillow away. “Ne, are you really tired or just annoyed or bored?” Hikaru asked with a teasing smile.
Daiki tried to reach for the pillow but Hikaru was holding it over his head so he couldn’t. “Does it matter? Besides, what are you doing?”
“Hn, if you’re feeling bored, there are ways to fix that…” Hikaru said with a suddenly wicked grin before he quickly leaned down and pressed his lips against Daiki’s. He could feel Daiki freeze under him, and even though he wasn’t really paying attention to Inoo he knew the older boy was at least just as shocked as Daiki.
“What do you think you’re doing!” Inoo exclaimed once he had gotten over his shock at seeing Hikaru out of the blue kissing Daiki, and pushed Hikaru away from over the youngest boy.
“Duh, kissing Dai-chan,” Hikaru said like it should be completely obvious. Of course it was, since Inoo could see he had just kissed Daiki, but that wasn’t really the kind of an answer Inoo was expecting. Hikaru was still smirking, clearly both amused by the other two’s reactions as well as the fact that he had even managed to get a reaction like that with something as simple as a small kiss.
“I know that!” Inoo almost shouted, his face red, although he didn’t even know himself if it was from anger, embarrassment or what. “I meant what do you think you were doing, doing something like that!”
Hikaru turned to look down at Daiki, whose face was slowly growing more and more pink, as if only gradually realizing what Hikaru had just done. Hikaru thought that looked incredibly cute… “Just felt like it~” Hikaru said simply. “If Dai-chan was feeling bored, or tired too, that’s at least something we could do… Ne, Dai-chan~” Hikaru asked, a suspiciously sweet smile on his lips as he leaned a bit closer to Daiki. He could barely keep from giggling when Daiki automatically tried moving away, even though he had his back against the bed and Inoo blocking his escape route on the other side so he couldn‘t.
“Just… felt like it..?” Inoo repeated, as if not believing Hikaru could be serious with this.
Hikaru turned his gaze from Daiki up to Inoo. “Hnn, maybe Inoo-chan is jealous? Should I have kissed you instead?” Hikaru asked, and burst out laughing. But once calmed down he took a closer look at Inoo’s face, inspecting it. “Hm, no… maybe, Inoo-chan wanted to kiss Dai-chan then..?” Hikaru started laughing again, but this time it was because Inoo’s whole face flashed bright red. “Bingo! I was right, wasn’t I?”
Inoo was opening and closing his mouth, trying to figure out something to answer Hikaru - preferably to yell at him - but he couldn’t come up with anything to say. What… what was Hikaru saying!?
Daiki was totally not following what was happening. His face was still red, and his eyes kept shifting between Hikaru and Inoo on his sides. What the boys were saying was making no sense at all!
Hikaru pretended to be frowning slightly before he leaned down to take a hold of Daiki’s arm and pull the boy up. “What, you don’t want to?” he asked, looking at Inoo. “Maa, if Inoo-chan doesn’t want to kiss Dai-chan…”
“No!” Inoo said sharply and reached to pull Daiki away from Hikaru before the boy could kiss him again. Hikaru had already been leaning in, and couldn’t decide now if he wanted to be amused by the reaction he had expected from Inoo, or annoyed that he didn’t get to kiss Daiki again. Inoo hugged Daiki protectively close against himself, glaring at Hikaru on the other edge of the bed.
“Well, are you gonna kiss Dai-chan then?” Hikaru asked in a bit whiny voice, obviously hinting if Inoo wasn’t going to Hikaru wanted to do it, although probably neither Inoo or Daiki were able to pick that up from his tone.
“Wha… I… of co…I… um…” Inoo was barely able to come up with a single word, let alone a whole sentence to answer Hikaru.
Hikaru only smirked at Inoo’s stutters, and before neither of the other boys could do anything he had already leaned forward and placed his lips on Daiki’s again. Inoo almost made both Daiki and himself fall off the bed as he moved to pull Daiki away from Hikaru.
“What, if you’re not gonna kiss him, why can’t I?” Hikaru asked, faking a pout. “Don’t you wanna kiss Dai-chan?”
“So what if I want to!” Inoo shouted before he could stop himself, realizing only after what he had said and blushed furiously at hearing his own words. He could barely even notice Hikaru’s victorious grin at hearing Inoo say that.
“I knew it~” Hikaru said in a singsong voice, smiling extremely wide. Even Daiki had forgotten to watch out in case Hikaru would try kissing him again, and was looking up instead, trying to see Inoo’s face which right now was burning red. “After all, who wouldn’t want to kiss our little Dai-chan~”
“Would you stop calling me little!” Daiki shouted, taking the chance to grab onto the one thing he wasn’t too embarrassed to talk about.
“Oh, so me calling you little does bother you, but not me kissing you?” Hikaru asked, immediately taking the chance given by Daiki’s outburst. “Jaa, how about Inoo-chan kissing you then?”
“Hikaru, if you don’t shut up now…” Inoo started, but a loud knock from the door interrupted his threat.
“What!?” Both Inoo and Hikaru called at the same time - Daiki had been rendered speechless by Hikaru asking if he didn’t mind the kiss - and after a few seconds the door was pushed open, although a little hesitantly, most likely because of the angry tone in both the boys’ voices.
Yuto and Yamada peeked inside from the doorway, and Yuto seemed to be almost sighing in relief for seeing that not only was Daiki in the room, but also two of the other boys who were missing from their rooms. “Ah, I’m so happy you’re all here! I was already starting to get paranoid when we found no one and…”
“Out!” both Inoo and Hikaru shouted, again exactly at the same time.
“E-eh!?” Yuto blinked, looking at the trio on the bed confused, then glanced at Yamada by the doorway - the shorter boy hadn’t stepped inside - and then looked back at the trio again. He was about to ask why, but both Hikaru and Inoo were glaring him with such a death glare he decided it was better for his health to leave as soon as possible.
Once the door clicked to a close, Hikaru and Inoo settled back to staring at each other, Hikaru with an amused, challenging smirk, and Inoo with an angry glare, Daiki sitting between them, Inoo’s arms still mostly around him.
“So…” Hikaru started, his smirk growing wider again. “You said you wanted to kiss Dai-chan…

“…What was that all about..?” Yuto wondered out loud, clearly shocked by how Inoo and Hikaru had yelled at him to go away. Yuto hadn’t even gotten to say why he had come there!
“I have no idea, but I know we’re doomed!” Yamada said, maybe a bit overdramatically but still actually serious. “With Hikaru that angry, we’re gonna suffer from it later! And Inoo too! Even though he appears so nice, he does a lot of pranks right? Didn’t he mess something into Hasshi’s hair wax once? I think it was soy sauce and soap and… Aaah, I don’t want anything happening to my hair!!” Yamada slid fingers of his both hands through his hair as if to check if it was okay, even though nothing could magically happen to them anyway.
“I… I guess so…” Yuto said with a small nod, swallowing a little nervously. He had no idea why the two had been so angry - Daiki had been in the room too but hadn’t said anything, even though it was his room! “I don’t know if they even noticed you since you didn’t come inside… so I think you’re safe…”
“Aaah, thank goodness…” Yamada sighed, clearly relieved.
“Oi, what about me!” Yuto exclaimed, looking at Yamada with a pained expression.
“You’ve got my sympathies,” Yamada said simply, with a little smile on his lips. “Anyway, how about going back to sleep now?”
“I guess…” Yuto started saying, but only then remembered why they had started going through the rooms in the first place. “Ah, but we still haven’t found Chinen! And Takaki is still missing too.”
“Who cares about Chinen or Takaki when it’s this late…” Yamada whined, trying to suppress a yawn. “C’mon, I’ll let you sleep in my bed! We only have Yabu, Keito and Ryutaro left, and I kinda doubt Yabu or Keito would have any of the others in their rooms this time of the night, so probably Ryutaro then, although he’s normally asleep this time so…”
“You know, maybe we should be thinking outside the group here,” Yuto then said, patting one finger against his cheek, apparently pretty much having forgotten about fearing what Hikaru and Inoo might do to him later. “If I heard Chinen leaving his room just before I got out, Takaki probably left before him, and thinking to whose room Takaki would go to…
The two boys turned to look at each other and spoke exactly at the same time: “Hasshi!”

“…and the girl ran to the next room, but before he could try locking it, the murderer had already pulled it open! A loud scream went through the whole house when…”
Fukka story got interrupted yet again when the door to Hasshi and his room was flung open with no warning. However, thanks to the eerie atmosphere his story had created to the room, every one of the boys got spooked by the door suddenly opening as if on its own, and they back away from it, shouting.
Yuto and Yamada, having gotten bored of knocking on people’s doors so many times already had decided to just try if the door would happen to be open, and it turned out to be. However, being greeted by the scared shouts of the six other boys, they probably wished they had knocked after all. Both Yuto and Yamada almost escaped from the room right away, screaming themselves because of the shouts from inside the room.
“What the hell do you two think you’re doing! Running into other peoples’ rooms like that!” Takaki shouted at the two, his voice more than a little higher pitch than it normally was. He thought his heart had would have jumped from his chest from a scare like that!
“Wha-what were you all screaming like that for!” Yuto shouted back, returning back to the room, Yamada sneaking in after him.
“We were telling scary stories and you walked in at the most scary part of my story!” Fukka said, flashing the light of his flash light towards the pair still near the doorway. “Don’t you know how to knock!”
“You guys, quiet down,” Hasshi warned when everyone was being too loud. “If you make too much noise, we’re gonna…” Hasshi stopped talking, everyone in the room quieting down to listen to the fast, angry footsteps coming down the hall.
“Everyone, hide!” Fukka hissed to everyone in the room, but before the boys could barely even move from where they were now, their manager was already standing in the doorway.
“Exactly what do you think you’re doing!?” the manager said, clearly angry, glaring through the boys in the room. Other than Fukka and Hasshi whose room it was, there were now six others in there. “All of you boys should be asleep already, so everyone back your own rooms! Now!
None of the boys were even trying to come up with any excuses or arguments, instead the ones still sitting on the bed got up immediately and all of them, minus Hasshi and Fukka, headed out of the room, commanded by the manager - none of them were stupid enough to try saying anything back when the manager was angry.
Before Takaki completely passed Hasshi though, he leaned to whisper to the younger boy’s ear. “I’ll leave my door unlocked in case you’d want to come sleep together after the manager leaves…”
“Takaki, you too, out!” the manager said sharply after noticing Takaki stopping to lean to Hasshi. The boy quickly hurried out of the room, and the manager left soon after him, having first glared at the two boys who stayed behind the room as if to make sure neither of the two would consider having any of the other boys there anymore.
“I didn’t get to tell the rest of my story…” Fukka whined, a bit unwillingly pulling the blanket over himself. “You wanna hear the rest of it now?”
“Mm, I was thinking I might go to Takaki’s room to sleep… do you mind?” Hasshi asked, blushing a little when Fukka gave him a suspicious glare.
“Abandoning me, are you?” Fukka asked dramatically, but laughed when Hasshi looked a little miserable at him saying it. “Just go, I’ll go spook Shota and Hikaru with the rest of my story instead! At least they know how to be quiet enough not to get caught! Just, we need to make sure the manager isn’t in the hallway anymore first…”

Sorry, I'm feeling random XD (Fyi for those who haven't read some of my older fics, I've often had Kisumai ojisan trio as my "commentors" at the end of the fics, but I haven't done that for a while...)
This whole fic was so random, mostly just some cute moments added together since I was too lazy to think a longer fic of those different scenes XD; Or actually I HAD thought about a whole fic about the HikaInoDai scene, but... um, that would have been NC-17 and I needed some innocent fluff now!!! I don't know if I'd write the threesome fic at some point... At least I should really write the Kisumai threesome first XD;
